The Paradigm Chronicles

Not many people are aware of an unseen law that states "If a hue-man born into life upon earth under the light of the god of this world, they are his property and freely given to his son, Unicorn Prince to take as his bride in death."

So how can anyone escape the Curse of Unicorn Bride?

SYNOPSIS of Curse of Unicorn Bride

A prideful King Haakon of Norway believes his priest can provide the answer to conquering the lands.  Instead, a terrible curse is unleashed.   The evil unseen powers appeared to be good to Emerald McLeod thanks to the genius visitor he found wandering in the dungeon at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye, Scotland one cold winter night in 1286 AD.   The strange visitor promised a great destiny that was equal to that of The Golden Days of King Arthur for his unborn daughter if Emerald agreed to betrothed her to an unseen, unicorn prince in a secret blood rite ceremony upon the Stone of Destiny under cover of darkness.

Years later, this terrible curse continues to plague his daughter, a young Ariel McLeod who is forced to live alone and manage the Dunvegan estate.  She is plagued by unseen forces and transforms into a living, fire breathing dragon; unaware of the curse, unanswered questions and written regrets of a missing father.

We begin the journey of The Paradigm Chronicles with Curse of Unicorn’s Bride, first in the book series.

  The Paradigm Chronicles

There is an ancient realm replete with kings and dragons and aliens whose ultimate goal is to kill, steal and destroy all those who discover their laws and magic powers contained inside certain 'Seer' minds.  This mysterious community, bound to protect the realm of their dominion, is stronger than mankind, so human efforts cannot defeat it.

Beyond witches and wizards and vampires and curses, The Paradigm Chronicles is the first series of its kind to draw back the curtain on the unseen realm to show the true face of Abaddon, the Destroyer and his evil plans to enlarge his Kingdom of Darkness through human slavery and sacrifice. The personification of evil in our world has appeared over and over throughout history, described in literary works with names such as Zeus, Horus, Nimrod, Dagon, Hades, Osiris and Ra. But whatever moniker they carry, all represent the dark king of the same realm.

Each of the seven main characters in The Paradigm Chronicles has a hidden past, a condemned bloodline by a forefather or mother that comes from the various powers of the seven evil dragon kings. This hidden past is their own personal Achilles heel, yet the characters are not aware of the effects of these curses or the battle over their daily existence because they live in the natural world. However, this unseen world is no less real. Darkness is hunting for blood and flesh with a secret agenda to have humans bear their children on earth.

Forces of the unseen are denying the warnings as they drive their hue-man hosts to obey,

"You must not allow the Nephilim to rise again." But it may be too late.

Through The Paradigm Chronicles, SC Duncan poetically reveals a widely unknown, yet very real quest during the middle ages where the Kings and Chieftains of Scotland, Norway and England are on the same quest for the Stone of Destiny.  This religious artifact is also known as Jacob’s Pillow; recorded as a portal between heaven and earth where angels climb a ladder to and fro.  This sought after the stone is said to speak and brings forth the voice of wisdom from the heavenly realm. Legends record it was used by King Arthur to anoint his Chieftain with the power to help faithfully rule the Hebrides Ilse as appointed Kings of Mann and Isle of Skye.Tied to legends of this same stone, is a mostly unknown, but well documented, immoral Egyptian goddess, Princess Scotia, born the 4th Daughter of Pharaoh Aten and Nefertiti, born ‘Meritaten.’  After escaping the plagues of Moses around 1300 BC, the beautiful woman claimed to have wondered for 440 years before arriving upon shores of the Hebrides Isles; Scotland. Carrying the Stone of Destiny, Scotia was received by the dark cloaked sorcerer Dagda, the good; also known as Odin and high king of the three kings of Tuatha De Dannan. Shortly after her arrival, she is crowned the first Queen of Scotland.

Do you want to know more?  Maybe weaved into a creative and elusive yet truth-telling story perhaps? This is just one of the historical mysteries explored in SC Duncan novels!  Colored with religious themes out of Bible as well as Norse, Roman and Greek mythology, SC Duncan has not only creatively brought this epic history to the forefront but has successfully weaved her real life.

SC Duncan’s genre-bending  saga “The Paradigm Chronicles” focuses upon the lives of 5 protagonist women spanning thousands of age of time.   Plagued by fear of the unknown and unseen, each woman creates their own version of reality as they try to make sense of visions of dragons and haunting of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.  How can they defeat the same immortal dragon before first being consumed by it?

These women are unaware of the Courts of Babylon, a satellite base of Mars on Earth. There, between a set of monolith stones on Ilse of Lewis, Scotland, a group of immortal beings from the Kingdom of Darkness meet to strategize and plot to continue their control the kings and queen of this world like pieces in a chess game. At the center of it all is a most elusive figure, Abaddon.  He still holds the keys to the Abyss and travels to and fro in time opening portals of Hades dark space employing his weapons to deceive humanity; playing a heartless game with souls for sport and leaving a trail of chaos.

Join the adventure as SC Duncan explores the unknown, the unexplained and unexplored subjects straight out of pages of antiquity to unveil a gripping truth about what we think we know about humanities past.  A canvas through time has been cast.  Outlined and painted with often delusional characters weaving their own maniacal thoughts in a twist of plots.  Some purposefully exploit history for this own gain, others seek to use immortal sources to drive minds into insanity. Most find themselves on a path to commit murder or watch another pay for their sins.  Those often commit suicide before the dragon arrives in a foolish attempt to pay their own blood debt. But, no one escapes by their own blood.

Come! Find out the real reason her good characters continuously fail to find the right doorway to unlock the web of truth and real love within The Paradigm Worlds!  And why the bad characters keep on escaping judgment.
