About S.C. Duncan

S.C. Duncan was born in a small town in the mountains of East Tennessee and grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL. As a young girl, she loved fairy tales and dreamed of meeting the perfect man and living happily ever after.

Growing in her career, she was gifted and meticulous at finding creative pathways through unsolvable riddles within business programs, scripting code and working out kinks in failing warehouse and logistical laborer processes.  Using all her talents, she successfully climbed the corporate ladder for many years. Yet, amidst two painful divorces and other tormenting family dramas, life had hit hard.

Somehow, SC Duncan always found the strength to get back up again.  Yet, she found true love so much harder to believe in.  Life grew monotonous and she struggled to find her purpose in this world.  One day, after she was asked to start another tedious project.  This question would not leave her mind,

“Is this all there is to life?”

An idea stirred within and she wrote a short story in a weekend.  After rave reviews, she began to expand upon it and could not stop.  Eventually, she left her career as to pursue finishing the download of things in her head.  Having personally experienced supernatural encounters with the unseen world, she has a deep desire to share it. But, who would believe her except the ancient alien theorists?

First, she had to provide a realistic framework of what and how demons and angels manifest on earth, which meant historical facts.  She had a passion inside about exploring truth, exposing fallacies and prejudices within current day culture.

This passion grew into a decade-plus of research during which she compared the world of the traditional beliefs in God against fairy tales, the occult, mythology, world history, literature.  She expanded,

"Why does history repeats?  It is a curse played out upon humanities ignorance?  How does any one capture it's pattern?  It is sad to say that so much history has been lost over time, revised edited and even purposefully erased.  I have found that most stories of history are drawn from either a very deep well that is too deep and scary to enter . . . or found in the shallow end of a pool.  This perspective brings about twisted reflections of truths viewed through a dark and daunting mirror of shadowed time.  Most of the solid surfaces, the dirt of real information, is missing or has been covered up.  As the cycle repeats causing it to be buried like an ancient cracked clay pot over many years of subjection to torrents of rain, mud slides and filthy debris."

Much of hidden history and mysteries have now been revealed through her stories - at a critical juncture in the battle of the ages.

Various literary works on historical figures, mythology and the afterlife which have impacted the creation of The Paradigm Chronicles or are explained through the revelations in this series include The Divine Comedy – Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso by Dante Alighieri, The Common Law by W. Holmes, Jr., History of the Reformation by George P. Fisher, A History of the Protestant Reformation in England and Ireland by William Cobbett, The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen, Mary Queen of Scots by Susan Doran, The Legend of the Baal-Shem by Martin Buber, Bulfinch’s Mythology – The Age of Fable or Stories of Gods and Heroes published by Doubleday & Company, King Arthur and His Knights compiled and arranged by Elizabeth Lodor Merchant, and many other works.

The more she found, the more SC Duncan came to believe this Pandora Box must be fully opened to release vital knowledge to humanity. Suppressed knowledge had been hidden under a cloak of religion, locked away as forbidden and considered forsaken doctrines.   SC will attest, she never left her faith, just religion as some perceive it to be.  For this cause, she faced many critics but kept on pressing.

After many years, what surfaced was a fantastical story of mixed genres that weaved parts of my own memoirs with a common cord of sex, murder, and deception of a past, present, and future ages.

Too much to tell, she had to divide the story up by levels of influence over her main characters.

First, she focused on dividing the plots by focusing on the first known cause of a dragon curse upon two family bloodlines. She aligned historical events to certain ancestors in the 13th Century as well as their offspring living in the 20th Century.  This timeline creates a weaved plot that reveals both families are hunted and haunted the same twisted characters belonging to the unseen realm, which became 12 novels, "The Paradigm Chronicles."

Second, SC Duncan then wrote the story that exposes the twisted game, hidden agendas and invisible weapons of the super evil characters of the unseen realm who are conspiring to destroy and kill the family bloodline that threatens their existence before and after the Primordial Age, inside a 5 book graphic novel, “The Epic Journey.

Thirdly, she creatively threaded within the Paradigm Novels, half-truths of a separate fantasy tale giving hope to the main character who dreams of escaping a nightmare.  The entire dream is not fully revealed until seen within a separate 35 page, fully illustrated, children's book,  The Sleeping Rose of Sharon”.

To wrap it all up, SC Duncan established an online world with epic landscapes and secret doorways named, The Paradigm Worlds (www.ParadigmWorlds.com) to explain the unseen characters in more depth to provide their star alignment, mythological, historical and legendary attributes to explain both the cause and effect of their use of the curses of Sin and Da'eth against mankind. She also provides definitions and theories behind many of the common laws used by unseen that are used as weapons against humanity affecting all realities, specifically the game of hell upon the earth in the present day.   All total there are 50 + characters, 7 Kingdoms;5 Factions;4 Realms, etc.

For the novels, she has drawn various Clan andCastle Maps, Multiple Ancestry Tree Charts, plus Fun Facts List of more than 25 of her own personal truths and over 100 facts of actual historical events and facts used in the storyline.

Come!  Join the historical fantasy adventure that SC Duncan has painted with her often delusional characters weaving their maniacal thoughts in a twist of plots by those who exploit history and drive minds into insanity, pursuing sex and ending in murder. Yet, each is continuously failing to find the right doorway to unlock real love within the Paradigm Worlds!
